Ski, skate or walk with snowshoes

The sun is shining and the spring snow lures you out to move. You can rent skis and skiing boots for cross-country skiing, snowshoes and sticks for walking or skates for skating on the ice of the Lake Päijänne at Lehmonkärki. You can start skating on a ploughed field in front of the main building Isohaapa.

In the wintertime, several kilometres of skiing routes start from the Lehmonkärki villa area. There are wonderful lighted skiing routes at Aurinkovuori in Vääksy (a ten-minute drive away) also for those who like to skate-ski.
